Amanda Burke

Amanda's journey is incredible: a University of Notre Dame graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Education concentration), with teaching experience spanning Indiana public schools, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, and most recently at All Souls Catholic School in Sanford. She has taught everything from 6th-grade math to pre-calculus and college algebra. 

Here's what makes Amanda's story even more special: "When my husband, Garrett, and I heard that Cristo Rey was potentially opening a school in Orlando, we knew we had to be involved," she shares. After nine years of focusing on raising their three daughters, Amanda felt God calling her back to teaching, specifically to Cristo Rey Orlando.

"We both feel very passionate about the opportunities Cristo Rey schools create for their students and alumni. We love how Cristo Rey students grow academically, professionally, and spiritually in their four years."

As our Math Coach, Amanda is excited to support students through all the highs and lows of learning mathematics. Her goal? Opening students' eyes to the beauty of math while building problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and newfound confidence in mathematics.
