Gabriela Yunen

Maria Gabriela Yunen is a passionate advocate for children, inclusion, and education, with over ten years of experience working with children in both academic and community settings. With a background in psychology, she has developed a strong understanding of the emotional and developmental needs of students, as well as the importance of creating a nurturing and respectful environment for all.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Gabriela has worked as a project consultant on several community-based initiatives aimed at raising awareness about individuals with special needs. She has also served as a preschool director in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she led with compassion, strong communication skills, and a deep commitment to supporting both families and staff.

Now based in Florida, Gabriela continues to pursue her passion for education and service. She currently volunteers with the Child Life Department at Operation Smile, offering support to children and families through meaningful moments of healing and hope.

Guided by kindness, patience, and a heart for service, Gabriela believes in the power of a warm smile and a welcoming presence. Her goal is to ensure that others feel seen, supported, and valued in every interaction.
