Michelle Young

Michelle Young brings over 15 years of financial and administrative experience forged across some of the world's most demanding hospitality environments to her new role as Executive Office Coordinator at Cristo Rey Orlando High School. From luxury hotel operations to award-winning restaurant management, Michelle built a career defined by precision, service, and care for the people around her.
Eighteen years ago, Michelle stepped away from that career to do something even more challenging and meaningful, raise a family, including foster children who needed a steady, loving home. Recently she encountered the mission of Cristo Rey, and felt the unmistakable pull of the Holy Spirit drawing her back to the workforce. "The students Cristo Rey serves remind me that every young person has the capacity to succeed, they just need someone to believe it first and build the conditions around them," Michelle shared. "My faith has always called me to see the dignity in each person, and Cristo Rey Orlando High School is built on exactly that conviction. I couldn't stay on the sidelines."
Originally from San Diego County and a proud Orlando resident for the past 12 years, Michelle's Catholic faith is the bedrock of how she lives and leads, serving several ministries including her parishes’ pastoral councils. She and her husband James are the proud grandparents of seven.
Michelle sees her return to the workforce as the next chapter of the same story, one of service, stewardship, and showing up for others.
