Yvonne M. Toro
Yvonne M. Toro is an accomplished educator with experience in K-12 education, serving as a principal, assistant principal, and teacher. Her extensive background in educational leadership has equipped her with a deep understanding of curriculum development, instructional strategies, and student engagement.
As a principal, Mrs. Toro demonstrated exceptional skills in sustaining a positive Catholic school culture, fostering collaboration among staff, and implementing initiatives that drive student achievement. Her expertise in educational administration includes proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and compliance with State and District educational standards and regulations.
As an assistant principal, she was instrumental in developing meaningful, instructionally targeted professional development programs that enhanced instructional practices. Mrs. Toro has a proven track record of mentoring new teachers and providing sustained support to ensure their success.
Mrs. Toro holds an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a Minor in International Affairs. She is enrolled in a doctoral degree program in Curriculum with a concentration in Educational Psychology. She is passionate about creating an inclusive environment that promotes equity and access to quality education for all students. In his spare time, she spends time with her family and listens to music.
