Cristo Rey Orlando High School was founded on the belief that financial circumstances should not prevent a student from receiving an excellent Catholic, college-preparatory education. Every family’s financial situation is reviewed individually and confidentially.

Our innovative tuition model combines:

• A family tuition contribution
• State scholarship funding
• Corporate Work Study Program contribution
• School-based financial assistance, when available

 

Making a Cristo Rey Education Possible

The cost to educate each student is $21,100, but families pay only a portion based on household income. Scholarships, fundraising, and the Corporate Work Study Program help make a Cristo Rey Orlando education affordable.

Family Tuition Contribution

Families contribute an affordable portion of the cost of their student’s education.

The final family tuition amount is based on factors that include:

• Household income
• Household size
• Scholarship eligibility
• Financial documentation
• Individual family circumstances

For many qualifying families, the family contribution may be approximately $100 per month or less, depending on the family’s eligibility.

Families are also responsible for purchasing the school uniforms and supplies. A full explanation of anticipated costs will be provided during the admissions and enrollment process.

How Corporate Work Study Contributes

Every student is required to participate in the Corporate Work Study Program.

Students work at a professional partner organization one day each week. The earnings generated through the program are paid to the school and help offset a portion of the cost of the student’s education.

Corporate Work Study earnings are not paid directly to the student or family.

This model allows students to gain professional experience while helping make a Cristo Rey education more affordable.

Step Up For Students Scholarships

Cristo Rey Orlando families may qualify for scholarships administered through Step Up For Students.

Required Financial Documents

Families may be asked to submit:

• Most recent federal income-tax return
• W-2 forms
• 1099 forms
• Two or more recent pay stubs
• Proof of Social Security, disability, retirement, unemployment, or other income
• Documentation of child support or other household support
• Employer verification
• Scholarship application or award information
• Additional documentation explaining special financial circumstances

The Admissions or Finance Team will notify families if additional records are needed.
